Man grow Farms go back to 1940s. Most of our trees date ​from the 50s. I, Owner of Man grow farms Mr. Ashok ​Shirole decided to radically change from conventional ​methods of cultivation. With the onset of organic food ​revolution, Man grow Farms was on the first and very few ​kesar mango farm to convert to organic label.

Our aims have since then been to deliver our clients / ​dealers with the best culinary experience while ​continuing to remain committed to ecological and ​sustainable farming practices.

History of kesar variety

The mango was grown in 1931 by Junagadh Wazir ​Sale Bhai in Vanthali. About 75 grafts were then ​planted in the foothills of Girnar at the Junagadh ​Laal Dori farm. The mango is said to have been ​known as "Kesar" since 1934 when the Nawab ​Junagadh Muhammad Mahabat Khan III said ​"This is Kesar" looking at the orange pulp of the ​fruit kesar being Gujrati / Hindi for saffron.

Man grow Farm is a scientifically developed farm of 800 Kesar mango trees.

Man grow Farm is developed with the joint efforts and care of traditional experts in ​horticulture and agricultural scientists.

Each tree is raised by the use of Gaumutra of cows, native manure, vermicompost ​manure, with the principles of organic farming and by drip irrigation system.

Man grow Farm is located on the rocky ground in the lap of mountain, So the mangoes ​here have the natural sweetness of rocky earth. Such mangoes are rich in excellent ​quality sweetness, taste, aroma and vitamins.

The fruit is harvested only after it has gain maturity, that is, the matured mango is culled ​as soon as it is ready. Natural taste of Mango is maintained and not a single fruit is ​marred. The mangoes will ripen naturally in 7 to 8 days by keeping them in the box.
